Meet the Chef
Kerry Nieh started The Serving Spoon in response to the growing need for people too busy to cook for themselves, many of them new parents. Word traveled fast and The Serving Spoon soon began to serve many professionals working long hours who wanted fresh, quality meals without having to go to a restaurant to get them. The Serving Spoon is now one of the top personal chef services in the DC Metro area.
As a young child, Kerry’s culinary education began at home with her parents, both wonderful cooks! Her love of cooking for others continues today as she constantly broadens her culinary education with every available opportunity. Kerry has graduated from l’Academie d’Cuisine’s Professional Development Series. She is also a member of the APPCA (American Personal and Private Chef Association), and the IACP (International Association of Culinary Professionals). She also adheres to the Personal Chef Code of Ethics.
Kerry’s mission is to continue to expand her menu ideas using the freshest, healthiest ingredients prepared and delivered to your door ready to enjoy!
